Miata Engines

I build Miata engines, from Spec Miata and restoration builds to high horsepower turbo, supercharged and naturally aspirated builds. Everything here is for the NA and NB Miata: the 1.6 short nose and long nose, the 1.8 BP, the NB1 BP4W and the NB2 VVT.

There are three ways to get one:

  • I build it for you. The Engine Build Packages go from Restoration (Stock Power) up to the 300-400 hp Standard Turbo Package. Every package includes machine work, assembly and the parts listed for it.
  • I build it to class rules. The Spec Miata Engine Build follows the current SCCA Spec Miata engine rules.
  • You build it. Build in a Box is the parts I've settled on, boxed up for you and your machine shop, from a stock rebuild up to the Forged (400whp Capable) kit.
