Engine core

If you supply a core, there is no extra cost. If you need me to supply a core, it is added to your package (1.6 B6 Short Nose, 1.6 B6 Long Nose, 1.8 BP (NA8): $1,500.00; 1.8 BP4W (NB1), 1.8 BP6D VVT (NB2): $1,800.00) and it is part of your deposit.

Deposit

The deposit is the parts cost of your package and any add-ons. The deposit is not refundable after parts have been ordered for the build. If you cancel after that time (usually 24 hours), the parts that you paid a deposit for will be sent to you, excluding any custom parts (valve cover modification, powder coating and 10AN return bung costs will all be forfeit).

Payment is split in two. The parts deposit shown for your package and add-ons is charged at checkout. The balance is charged to the same card when your engine is complete. Shipping is invoiced separately.

Engine builds are excluded from the return policy.

Freight

Shipping is charged on a separate invoice when your engine is complete.

Warranty

Warranty is on workmanship only. If an engine fails and it is deemed to be due to faulty workmanship by me, then I will cover the repair. Parts failures or failures due to owner neglect/abuse are not covered by any warranty.

Lead time

Engine build lead time is 4-6 weeks, depending on what level of build you are going with. If you have any questions on lead time, please feel free to email me via the "Contact Us" page.

  • Restoration: 6 Weeks
  • 250-400HP Builds: 6 Weeks
  • 400hp + Builds: 6-8 Weeks (Will confirm)

Lead Times are based on the assumption that the engine is in hand and ready for work. Any parts delays due to incoming engine damage are not factored into the lead time estimate.
