It's shaped to leave extra room on both sides of the engine bay for intercooler piping.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt takes a 12\" center mounted SPAL fan, or any fan with the matching bolt pattern. You can order it with the fan included or supply your own. The SPAL connector will need to be spliced or swapped for a Miata plug.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe flaps in the shroud are radially mounted. They open to let air through while you're driving and close at idle, so the fan pulls as much air as possible through the shroud.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you're running a stock radiator, email me or leave a note with your order, because the mounts have to be offset for it to sit flush.
